An EVS tasksheet designed for Nursery children to learn about the surprise emotion. Children look in a mirror to observe facial changes, draw a surprised face, and match surprising situations.

On the sheet

A large red circle in the center is provided for the child to draw a surprise face. Four surrounding illustrations depict situations: "Exploring new things", "Getting new ideas", "Losing something you like" (a boy crying with dropped ice cream), and "Reading a book". The child draws a surprise face and matches the relevant situations to it.
