Self and Society — printable resources

Building self-understanding, emotional resilience, family connections, and school community relationships.

The Self and Society learning area helps children develop healthy self-understanding, manage their emotions, build relationships, and understand their role in the community. Our printables provide excellent discussion anchors, exploring themes such as feelings, families, school rules, and people who help us. Through drawing and conversation-starting sheets, these resources foster vital social-emotional skills, respect for others, and community awareness.

In Hong Kong kindergarten settings, use these printables to support a positive classroom culture during circle time or morning assemblies. For PN and K1 groups, focus on simple drawing sheets about emotions to help children name their feelings. For K2 and K3 learners, use family and community worksheets to stimulate role-play and collaborative talk. By centering discussion around each printable, educators promote active listening and mutual respect, embedding joyful learning deeply.
