Arts and Creativity — printable resources

Encouraging creative self-expression, process art, and visual drawing skills using diverse craft templates.

The Arts and Creativity learning area encourages children to explore materials, appreciate aesthetic beauty, and express their imaginations. Our printable collection supports this through diverse colouring pages, open-ended drawing prompts, sensory art ideas, and simple craft templates. These activities focus on the creative process and individual artistic choices, ensuring that children can safely explore their ideas and develop fine motor confidence through hands-on making.

Educators in PN and K1 to K3 classrooms can introduce these craft and drawing templates as open-ended starting points in their art centres. Instead of striving for uniform, identical results, encourage children to select their own colours, add unique patterns, and discuss their creations with peers. Placing these colouring and design sheets alongside sensory play materials like playdough or loose parts allows children to express themselves freely, nurturing joyful learning and self-confidence.
