Wellbeing (Mana Atua) — printable resources

Health and emotional wellbeing, ensuring children feel safe, nurtured, and physically supported.

Mana Atua, or Wellbeing, focuses on protecting and nurturing a child's physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Our printable resources support this vital strand with feelings-sorting tasks, body-awareness templates, and self-care routine charts. These tools help children identify their emotions, explore sensory play, and learn about healthy habits, dental hygiene, and physical safety in a supportive environment.

Kaiako can easily weave these templates into daily play-based programmes to establish a sense of safety and calm. Use the routines worksheets during transitions or lunchbox nutrition discussions with nohinohi and kōhungahunga. By connecting these printables with real-life daily practices and quiet moments of self-regulation, you help children feel secure and empowered to look after themselves and support their peers.
