Contribution (Mana Tangata) — printable resources

Learning to work together, cooperating, treating others fairly, and valuing individual and group contributions.

Mana Tangata, or Contribution, celebrates the relationships children build with others and their ability to work together fairly. Our social-emotional printables feature friendship matching worksheets, kindness-sorting challenges, cooperation guides, and community helper activities. These resources focus on sharing, manners, and treating everyone with respect, encouraging young children to recognise their own strengths and appreciate the unique contributions of their peers.

In your playgroup, preschool, or kindergarten, use these sheets as interactive conversation starters rather than independent tasks. Kaiako can guide children to complete them in small groups, promoting negotiation and collaborative problem-solving. Encouraging nohinohi and kōhungahunga to reflect on kindness and sharing during play-based sessions helps weave social responsibility and democratic participation naturally into their daily interactions.
