Science — printable resources

Encouraging inquiry, exploration, and observation of the natural world, weather, and life cycles.

Science is about tapping into children's natural curiosity about their world, from plants and animals to the changing weather and seasons. Our science printables offer observation logs, sorting tasks, and discovery diagrams that give young children structured ways to record and communicate what they observe during scientific inquiry.

Combine these observation sheets with outdoor exploration or simple classroom experiments. For example, have preschoolers and kindergartners inspect leaves outside and then record findings on a sheet. This active, inquiry-based approach builds observational habits and deepens cognitive reasoning as outlined in the NAEYC early learning standards.
