Expression — printable resources

Fostering communication in all its forms, including early literacy, numeracy, and creative art.

The foundation of expression celebrates communication in all its forms: through language, numbers, and the arts. Our rich selection of printables supports early literacy, numeracy, and creative learning skills. Children can explore letter sounds and handwriting, build number sense with early counting worksheets, and express ideas using drawing prompts and story sequence cards. These materials offer diverse avenues for children to communicate their thoughts and feelings.

To enrich communication in Ontario JK/SK and child care programs, educators can incorporate these resources into writing corners or creative tables. Use letter-formation and story-sequencing sheets to support emergent literacy in bilingual or English-language contexts. By pairing these printables with open-ended conversation and cooperative group play, you support children as they find their voice, share complex ideas, and develop confidence across the multiple languages of expression.
