Communicating (Cumarsáid) — printable resources

Encouraging children to express thoughts, feelings, and ideas through verbal and non-verbal languages.

The Communicating (Cumarsáid) theme is about children sharing their thoughts, stories, and feelings while discovering diverse forms of self-expression. Our English, literacy, and creative learning printables include letter tracing, phonics activities, and story-sequencing tasks. We also provide themed drawing templates and art pages that foster creativity. These resources bridge speech and writing, helping children develop rich vocabulary, recognise sight words, decode letter sounds, and express ideas confidently using both words and visual arts.

In playgroups, crèches, and ECCE classrooms, these sheets work beautifully as catalysts for child-led storytelling and interactive talk. Pair the story-sequencing worksheets with group discussion during circle time, or use art templates as invitations for children to express feelings. In junior and senior infant classes, educators can introduce the structured handwriting and letter-tracing templates during small-group work, supporting early reading efforts while keeping language learning communicative, active, and joyful.
