A phonics tasksheet where children read sentences with their teacher and write the correct consonant to complete words with the vowel 'e' (such as set, jet, pets, pen, bed).

On the sheet

Lists five sentences with fill-in-the-blank phonetic words and corresponding images: 1) a lego set ("One ___et of Legos."), 2) a flying jet ("The flying ___et."), 3) a neighbor with pets ("My neighbor's ___ets are very friendly."), 4) a fountain pen ("I received a fountain ___en as a gift."), and 5) a cat on a bed ("The cat is taking a nap on its ___ed."). The child writes the missing starting consonant for each word.
