The Qriosity Box Program
Welcome to the Qriosity Box, our dedicated “habitat of wonder”!
At Superbuddy, we believe that children are natural researchers, and the best curriculum is one that is built upon their own genuine curiosity. The Qriosity Box is our proprietary educational framework and community portal that collects children’s real-world questions and translates them into interactive, Reggio Emilia-inspired learning themes.
Instead of imposing pre-determined, rigid content on young minds, we invite educators and parents to listen closely to what children are asking, capture those sparks of interest, and explore the answers together.
Who It Serves
The Qriosity Box program is designed to support the entire early learning ecosystem:
- Children (Ages 3–5 and 4–6): The active inquirers whose immediate observations, theories, and questions drive the learning process.
- Parents & Caregivers: Who receive guidance on how to listen for, validate, and scaffold their child’s natural inquiries at home.
- Early Years Educators & Schools: Who use these inquiry leads to design high-engagement, child-led thematic weeks in the classroom.
Why Questions Matter: The Pedagogical Philosophy
Traditional early education often provides answers to questions children never asked. The Qriosity Box reverses this dynamic. We celebrate all types of inquiries:
- Big questions and small questions
- Thin questions (factual) and thick questions (conceptual)
- Straight questions and curly questions
- Hard questions and soft questions
When we validate a child’s question, we send a powerful message: Your thoughts have value, and you are a capable creator of knowledge. This validation supports:
- Critical Thinking: Moving children beyond rote memorization to active hypothesis testing.
- Language & Articulation: Helping young learners formulate and express complex ideas.
- Socio-Emotional Confidence: Building self-esteem by making their interest the center of the learning voyage.
How the Qriosity Box Works
We co-construct our curriculum in partnership with our global community. Here is how we turn a simple question into a rich educational voyage:

1. Spot the Spark (Caregivers and Teachers)
In the classroom or during daily routines at home, listen closely to what your child is noticing. When they ask an open-ended question—whether about plants, machines, feelings, or the night sky—write it down exactly as they say it.
2. Submit to Superbuddy
Bring your children’s questions to us! Educators and parents can submit their learners’ inquiries directly to our team. Every question we receive is compiled and reviewed by our early years experts.
- How to submit: Simply email your learner’s name, age, and exact question to [email protected] with the subject line “Qriosity Box Submission”.
3. We Wonder and Explore Together
The most engaging submissions are integrated into our core theme designs and curriculum! We use these questions to create:
- Daily installments of our Superbuddy Comic Series
- Thematic worksheets and low-prep hands-on activities
- Specific inquiry guides for educators and schools
Sample Inquiries: Questions We’ve Explored
Here are some real examples of “curly” questions submitted by children in our program, along with the learning quests they inspired:
| Child’s Question | Thematic Domain | Resulting Superbuddy Quest |
|---|---|---|
| “Why do leaves change color?” | Environmental Science | Growing Plants Quest |
| “How can we see the wind?” | Physical Science | Parachute Quest |
| “Why does the moon follow my car?” | Astronomy | Sky Exploration Quest |
| “Are all stones the same?” | Earth Science | Stones & Loose Parts Exploration |
School Integration: Set Up a Physical Qriosity Atelier
For school leaders and educators, we help you set up a physical Qriosity Atelier or “Wonder Corner” in your classrooms. We provide:
- Physical Box Designs: Craft ideas and labels to build a beautiful, tactile drop-box for student questions.
- Teacher Facilitation Training: Practical workshops on how to encourage children to ask deep questions and how to document their inquiry journeys.
- Curriculum Alignment: Methods to link child-led questions to international development standards.
To learn more about classroom integration, explore our Schools Hub or schedule a workshop through our Early Childhood Training portal.
